EO archipelago (2025)

I have no reason to blow smoke or “log roll” as it’s called - for Ensar…. I doubt he really needs another fanatic or would note me as an interesting customer.

Also I love the fact that this forum and the other artisans have sort of seemingly leveled the playing field with regard to Ensar’s powerhouse of a company within this niche, but I do wanna say that Archipelago is really nice and I really think it’s a good value - I might pick up another bottle.

Of course it just arrived via DHL and it’s actually warm from the Texas heat here, but I had to immediately swipe.

I first get earth… A very nice earthy smell and a forest after rain (Petrichor might be the technical term) as well as a very slight menthol… To me, this reminds me of wood, and how it smells when I dig wood (but not rotten wood) out of the ground.

Yep - i imagine an old piece of wood when I smell it. I’ve returned to my wrist more than I normally do with an OUD, which is saying something.

Wow, a non biased EO review that is positive? The end of the world is soon!

EO gets plenty of love here (though not as much as on the fan sites). I have some oils from the oriscent days that are tasty, absolutely on par with the other very fine oils out there.

SULAYM Royal Viet - sample is running out, I think this is worth a bottle. Delicious Oud.

EO Bhutanagu
This is a nice daily swiper, clean but slightly barny Hindi at the front and sweet at the end. I am curious to try a full on Bhutanese high grade oil to see what this region offers, I have tried 2 so far (excluding this co-distill) to me it just smells like a Hindi profile and it makes sense given its geographical location.
