This is a nice daily swiper, clean but slightly barny Hindi at the front and sweet at the end. I am curious to try a full on Bhutanese high grade oil to see what this region offers, I have tried 2 so far (excluding this co-distill) to me it just smells like a Hindi profile and it makes sense given its geographical location.

I'm a big fan of @RisingPhoenix's Trashigang Dzong. It's a traditional Bhutanese distillation and doesn't smell anything like a hindi.

Green of course but slight fermented (tropical) fruit humming away. A sunny jungle, perhaps one that's missed an extra day or two of rain. Some flowers may be blossoming in the rays. Then that waft of incense hits. It's a good one.

For me, nearly all the borneo oils Ive tried smell like pathcouli, hamster cage, mulch, and peanuts…maybe with a bit of cedar.

In other words - not my cup of oud.

Seriously, goto a pet store and smell the hamster cage, or take a whiff of a fresh pile of mulch and you’ll get 90% of the aroma profile

Exceptions being: Borneo3000, white kinam, and the multiple Borneos from Fushigi.

Im hoping the en route Malinau oil from Habz is also an exception here 😊

Habzoud's Mai Kritsana is drying down to something like a delicious, smoky fig bar, crowned in golden ambery incense. It's mixing nicely with the Terengganu chips from Oudique I'm burning, which is by far way more barny.
