If someone swiped this oil and said its Sinensis from HK region ... anyone would believe it ....Luang AA - this one is like a lightning strike with an Airy piercing top note to a Kinamic drydown it's a joy ride. Got a good 10 hrs longevity today with some good projection.
Wonder if you could spare a tiny drop of LMK’s Eau de Viet for me? By the time I saw this to try it was long goneI actually wore a few swipes of oud to work today, it's been several months since I've really "worn" an oil, it's usually pre-bed swipes.
I used Ensar's Assam Organic which is my favourite Hindi - very peppery, not too animalic, very rounded overall with leathered nuances. Lovely stuff
Now I have on Imperial Oud's Ceylon Royale - my favourite Sri Lankan 🙂 so ethereal, green/orange hues spring to mind
On the other hand is IO's Viet Zephyr which is fantastic, a little sharp, zingy, vibrant and fizzy. This stuff really pops. Not sure if it's my favourite, I can't pick between this and LMK's Eau de Viet
on the burner's a large wild Manipur chip from IO which has been scenting my room fantastically. It's on its second burning as I was heating it for several hours last night too
Thank you for your insight. Pricey oil though.Friday Prayer Scent - Agar Aura Bhamo
I fully understand the hype and buzz around this oil.
From an opening which I've not experienced before with a blast of spices over fresh wild grass. My nose gets this prominent note when u stand next to a carpenter working on a piece of wood and when he slices it. That lovely woody note forms the Mid and Base. Over this woody note plays now the spices and green grass note but much mellow. All these guys perform the show BUT the show stopper is surely that Kinamic note which keeps appearing in mid - base.
