All in all I can't believe I waited so long to try AH. With every vendor I try, the more appreciative I am of ouddict in general. I haven't once had a miss - and so much variety every morning when I wake up.

But yeah if you asked me for the price - zaza zen vs kelatan. Both same in price. Zaza zen is a great fruity profile with a lot of bass - not much movement on the top end. Kelatan is far more complex. I think the better bet if I had to choose. Luckily I don't need to with this price range - and both very different and equally enjoyable. I think kelatan you get more complexity and uniqueness that's amazing for 100 bucks. Next time someone tells you oud is all too expensive, send them for this!

Have to say that I was REALLY impressed with Ibn Zamrak....yes the other oils are no slouches either , but IB (not to be confused with irritable bowl though if the market keeps up I may have that too as well) ....is really quite a top contender with the big boys coming out of a relative new comer...I mean we know that there are some talented and very experienced staff that have a lot of exposure to top teir oils on that team so it comes as no surprise.....but still....IB rocks as a new heavyweight in the oud world as an oil that's half berkilau and half purple kinam and still yet coming in at oud light prices . I dont get the b3k2015...which to me smells like unheated half/sinking grade malinau chips I have in a jar.....I would have bought a few more tolas as I am a malinau feind if that were the case....but wow do I get loads of purple!

I know I say alot of high grade malay beccariana smells like pk...but it's the truth that high grade malay beccarianas sing a very similar top note.

I'd love to hear about , or even better try RPs Zen Zarawaki ......anyone try this one or looking to swap a sample of it?

Today was a double swiper - ASO Hudhayl + RBO Ko Sichang.

For those unfamiliar, Ko Sichang is an undeniable oil. Thick like molasses, smoky-sweet-sour off the top, settling into a multi-faceted eathy richness of resinous cherry-toned animalic incense.

Fu Zang Long by La Maison Khenata.... One of the few oils in my collection that I really look forward to wearing and I am never disappointed when I wear this. Herbal, bitter, medicinal, old school sinensis to the core, just my cup of tea [emoji7][emoji3590]. A lovely oil from Farid MashaAllah. Not much of it left I’m led to believe so if you want it then buy it [emoji3525]
