Bangladeshi Oud Incense Grade Custom Distillation:

Thanks and thanks, respected Itrat for such a beautiful Oud into Oud. Sniffing this nectar is a blessing!
I was recently smelling a chip of JK's "Special" Bengali chips and thinking, "if someone would just distill an oil from this."

It was JK who introduced me Bangladeshi Oud, and then I tried more oils from this region. Itrat widened the sphere by introducing a great variety of traditional Bangladeshi oils that he himself collected from the distillers. This custom distillation is one of those oils.

Oudline km super ateeq on one wrist
EJayB sour Tangie CEO on the other

blended together on my forearm. I’m smelling all kinds of great stuff right now.

the oudline is a very interesting oil. It has this old merauke kind of vibe so that makes it what? Filaria I believe. Smells like other old filaria oils I have smelled. There’s this dense old heavy oily heart, with some earthy mud cloth notes, but also a tart cola tang nestled in there. There’s also a kind of resinous vibe - like a thick resin smell. In just a vague sense it is like the scent of kunroku resin.

The sour Tangie oil is just this chewy green mossy fern-scented delight. Love this stuff!

The two oils play together well but don’t interact synergistically or anything.

Ok more on this tomorrow but I got my Al hasimi package today! Trying out these 3 oils - kelaton which hits so high above it's class. More on this soon.

Ibn which I love and similar to b3k, Fahad, and some others. I can only imagine this is walla? Such a robust and spicy finish around a vanillic almost ambery cinnamon backdrop. Some powderyness too!

Then seeniya which is like a great bitter tone. Need more time and a bigger dab on this.

All in all I can't believe I waited so long to try AH. With every vendor I try, the more appreciative I am of ouddict in general. I haven't once had a miss - and so much variety every morning when I wake up.

But yeah if you asked me for the price - zaza zen vs kelatan. Both same in price. Zaza zen is a great fruity profile with a lot of bass - not much movement on the top end. Kelatan is far more complex. I think the better bet if I had to choose. Luckily I don't need to with this price range - and both very different and equally enjoyable. I think kelatan you get more complexity and uniqueness that's amazing for 100 bucks. Next time someone tells you oud is all too expensive, send them for this!

Thanks for making my day!

Our thought is that we want oud to be used, swiped, heated, enjoyed, shared etc etc.. not to just be stored for investment or whatever on an old shelf. That is the reason behind our lower margins.

It makes me sooooo happy to read that it is appreciated in this lovely community.

Enjoy!!

I’ve been back and forth with obtaining more FHI. I have probably .8g or so of this gorgeous oud. With how strong it is to buy a whole gram more is overkill right?
If you love it ,and i presume you do ,if you find another gram on sale buy it ,i buy first 1 gram ,and after one month i buy another 2 [emoji23][emoji23]
Never will be enough this kind of oud [emoji173]

Floral honey! That sounds like something I’m looking for in an oud....

Agar Aura - Royal Malinau

Whatever I experienced in Malinau oils has been spoilt. Without exaggeration this oil represents Malinau wood .... the initial green mint blast to the zesty vanillic note .. while having this insane mineral base incense note throughout the mid and base in the scent progression.

While other Malinau oils draw similarities to Walla a bit but this oil stays true to the wood ... i dont know if this is grade of wood or Taha distillation parameters or may be both...

Top stuff [emoji2962][emoji7]
