Rocking my Vietnamese oil today, Getting better every time I wear it!
I think I need to purchase more of this. I’m starting to feel like I don’t want this to run out but I also want to wear it everyday. It hits the right spot.

I noticed that when I use a small amount the vanilla cream is on blast. When I layer it on thick I get more florals and less creamy vanilla. I swear at times I smell a hint of raspberry leather.

Earlier: AA Siam 4K. Getting less fruity and more "SERIOUS." Drydown is amazing. Like the Chinese version of a Cambodi, resinous, incense-y drydown.

More recently: put two swipes of Taha's cultivated Pursat on my underarms. Better than deodorant. Lol. Then swiped Bulgarian rose otto that had Central Asian musk macerating in it for six month on the hands and rubbed it into the beard. All the brightness of rose, but minus any sweetness or peachiness. Rather, with a pale, white chalkiness to it, and a hint of muskiness. A whisper.

Wearing from my sample of Habz al Janah pt 1... today getting a very lavender/herbal/cooling quality... it is the very end of the sample so I’m wondering if this is heat/oxidation effects or possibly I contaminated the sample with an errant swipe(I don’t use disposable toothpicks with .1/.2/.3ml samples)... anyone else get cooling Lavendar from al Janah? Or did I screw this sample up?

Hi I'm new to oud! I only own a Santosa bottle as I know how oud Cambodia smelt. Can anyone send a list of companies that sell pure oud or blends like ensaroud. Thanks

Wearing Ashworth Oud's Golden Shyhelt today layered with Mohd Ayub & Co Super Malik Shamama.
Very nice combo. Performance on clothes was very good to last all day and get a scent trail.
Both oils like the heat and don't really shine for me in the cold. For extra awesomeness kept bottle of shamama in pocket. That opening first 20 mins is so refreshingly addicting!
It was 22°C here today in Toronto

Ok...the perfumist was never ok and is not on this forum so just check out the vendors on the forum I can't list all of their Ouds because I have not tried them.

I am but one minute (for example) the perfumist is okay then the next minute they're diabolical. So a list of big names for their oud would help me out a lot!!
The ones I've tried and I can recommend.
Habzoud, Imperial Oud, AshworthOud , Immortal Oud, Al Hashimi, Ensar oud and Royal Bengal Oud.
Other oud giants that I have not tried yet but deserve to be mentioned are AgarAura, Feel Oud, Bornikoff and Al Shareef Oud.

Here’s the link to see the forum vendors:

I haven’t been able to sample them all but I’ve had great experiences with Habz, Al Shareef, Al Hashimi, Le Maison Khenata, Imperial Oud, Olefaktory and andrew from Ouddles.

In addition Agar Aura is thought to be one of the pinnacle Oud distillers in the world and Ensar Oud has many gems. Feel Oud has some great stuff too. And Ahom Oud(formerly Aggarwood Assam) has some great Ouds out of India.

Ok so you do know some of the vendors that are on this forum, so what are you looking for I'm just trying to help not start a argument.
Lol, don't blame you for saying that. I've only got a oud oil from ensaroud. But from people ok they say I paid too much as it was only one year old. But again he sells wild oud so I understand it costs more.

If you bought and likes Santosa by Ensar then u would recommend Trat Templar by Immortal Oud.
I haven't done a full review on it so I can link anything but its a very good value for money oil. I have Santosa as well and I like trat Templar much much more. Price is similar.
The longevity, scent complexity and projection are all better than Santosa.

Also Santosa and Trat Templar are both oud from cultivation wood. Whoever says 3grams of Santosa for $100 is expensive has no idea what people think expensive is on this forum 🤣

Thanks Yh I've seen it. As I already got oud Cambodia I think I'm gonna try something different
