Oud Tashi (Ahom Oud) - a wild Bhutanese beauty. It's animalic facets have already subsided a lot (since I bought it fresh around Ramadan 2021) and some of them have morphed into and merged with its dry, resinous and incensy base. In the trail it has a lot of similarities with very old Malaysian ouds. This oil will only get better with time.

Koh Kong Melange (70% Cambodian / 30% Thai co-distill) by Feel Oud

I received a sample of this in the mail, when I ordered Burma Savage, and haven't quite smelled anything like it before in my short time as an ouddict. The first thing that you notice is that it is THICK, possibly the thickest, stickiest oil that I own, close to molasses in viscosity. Opening note is predominantly gasoline / diesel, which I absolutely love, lasting for 20-30 minutes. Middle notes remind me of fruit leather - when a blend of fruits are pureed together and dehydrated. Lots of red and purple, the former of which I'm told is common in Cambodian oils. Very rich and deep fruits, as opposed to the tropical top notes I'm more accustomed to. There's a great base note in here too, of leathery, animalic funk - more smoky or tarry than barnyard, brings to mind a classic leather perfume. I'm a fan of this one.
