IO Ceylon Royale II and Jinkoh Store Jinko Lokma

I still remember the first time I have sampled Ceylon Royale. Couldn't believe it was wood, not to mention Oud, what I was smelling. That was one of the very few oils that stuck with me in my olfactory memory. Was lucky to find a bottle here, after some time. This is pure Walla Patta bliss, one of the most beautiful oils to me.

Jinko Lokma is the cleanest Hindi I have ever smelled. Soft nutty woody aroma, milky, honey. Delightful. Marius puts out some amazing stuff. Everything that I had purchased from him so far is outstanding, and enjoyed everything else that I have tried.

I love what he’s putting out with Jinkoh Store. I’m like you in that I’ve really enjoyed everything I’ve tried. I own everything he’s put out now except for the Hong Kong oil and the Thai oil he first released.

Just swiped the new Malaysian oil ‘Jinko Kurozato’ from Jinkoh Store

The name literally means “blackened sugar” so of course it has this blackened sugar and spiced cola vibe that hits right between your eyes. It’s rich, fuzzy and SWEET. Yet it’s natural aura keeps the sweetness from feeling cloying. This is literally a complete perfume in its own right and I know the words “office friendly” get thrown around a lot but this to me is the sweet that we all want to smell instead of ethyl maltol.

After a few minutes this reminds me of Dr. Pepper syrup with a hefty dose of molasses. I haven’t tried a lot of high end oils but the more well versed I become in the mid-range the more I fall in love with these heavy hitters. So far Habzoud, Al-Hashimi and now Jinko Store are by far changing the game for affordable top shelf oils.
Sound really awesome. Have a gram of it in the mail, cant wait!!

Dude it’s so goooooood. Marius says the sweetness will chill out with some aging since it’s a fresh oil but honestly I love it. Usually sweet ouds are fruity and cloying but this feels like freshly scorched créme brûlée where it’s creamy and sweet but feels more gourmand than cloying. I dunno. I just really love this smell.

EO's Mission Cambodi Kinam

2nd try in over 2-3 years.

Review:
Scent profile: 2-2.5 out of 5
Sillage: 1/5
Longevity: 1.5/5
Effects: 100/5 (tried super tiny amounts twice today - both times it dialed down my mind to zen mode in few seconds. Not sure if any other oil has had such an effect on me hitherto. Perhaps Kinam/Kyara truly exists lol)

Maybe impulse is not all that bad.............don't quote me 🙂
