I’ve never smelled something close to Malinau QI … it’s totally different to Royal Malinau , Borneo kin, Borneo king, B50k, B3K, or white kinam … it’s pure, clean and deep vanilla cream with almond and peanut butter with yellow pollen flower, and very light incense or vapor…
If Borneo Ateeq from Habz is the sweetest sugary Borneo vanilla profile, Malinau QI is the lightest sugary vanilla profile … like real vanilla pod

That stuff is fantastic. Came in a sample with my Borneo Kin and Merauke Shinrin oil. Along with Purple Haze.

Because of the excessive smoky ashtray scent?
I think it is less a distillation flaw than a limitation of the materials used; and therefore the distillation used was a means, however, imperfect of making the most of the limitations. I like AK rubbed into a leather jacket; it’s not an oil to study. If one enjoys an inelegant bit of loud smokiness, then so be it.

The two Hindi oils are close in terms of profile … light and gentle incense with sour nuts and hay turns around resinous spectrum of agallocha… no berries, but pretty creamy flowers mixed in sweet cocoavanilla vibe… it’s wild and clean animalic… but not as clean as the new gen of Hindi oils . I love it
Lao Xiang is maybe my favorite Thai oil …
Deep and thick resinous and clean sour notes that I love over Siam sk from AA … it’s musky and addictive ! It’s pheromonal ! Sweet resin bubbling with a touch of olive notes! The dry down is phenomenal ! I don’t get any fruit jam like usual crassna!
for me it’s close to old traditional Malaysian oil…
I love my sample and would love to get more 🙂

The Hong Kong oil from Marius is straight line of the note that I identified as Kinam … my hainan cultivated kinam shavings smell very close to this fabulous oil . Honey powdery and musky vanilla cinnamon with woody resinous bittersweetness. I prefer swipe it in my beard and I get vaporous vibe that coming up to my nose, and such pleasure in my masks that I use all the day during my job ^^

Pursat QI smell just perfectly from the bottle … full strawberry milk with butter hit your brain ! and when I swipe it , it’s even more bitter , I get tobacco and bitterness with wet hay … honestly, I prefer this oil from the bottle or swiped on my clothes… in my skin , it going to something too much bitter for my tastes ! I putted some drops on my gloves and it smell beautiful ! It remind me EOC In terms of sweetness !
Mulia from AA is the little sister of Blue Malay ! It’s very sweet and sharp ! It’s solid Buzzing in your brain ! seven up and cola with green muskiness ! Light mint and Candy with cinnamon ! Lemony !
Blue malay is something very special !
i get icy mint with cola lemon, but the thing that I love so much in this oil is the creamy buttery Kinamic scent that I also smell in King K Nam … it’s very difficult to describe it but this oil contain something that I am crazy about !!! Narcotic addicting scent that give me strong punch in my Brain … just wow ..

Borneo Kin is a creamy vanilla mixed in pollen of yellow flower ! There is spices and light incense that remind me a lot Borneo 50k from Ensar ! It’s bitter sweetness very well balanced . This oil had a full malinau spectrum ! Vanilla, nuts, incense, intoxicating wood, creamy floral scent , almond , and diesel!

King Kalakassi by Dr. Parasun (Craft Oud):
There are a very few oils that are born great. King Kalakassi is one of them. Awe-inspiring sort of oil it is!
Its aroma is to be described in terms of frequency, and not in terms of top, heart and base notes. The scent evolves and moves from low frequency to higher and then to the highest. Amazing! Scaling peaks, and fathoming ocean and trekking jungle are unified in this sacred liquid. I feel inclined to write Dr Parasun distilled different agarwood species in a single pot. This is why I'm reluctant to write it is hay-ish, floral, incensey etc. The aroma it emits is simple and pure OUD and OUDY. It is above adjectives and epithets.
I'm fortunate enough to have this oil, the first oil I got in 2022.
There are more oils by Dr Parasun that I will try later. Hope soon his new batches of sandalwood oils will be ready to be offered.

Habz Al janah 3
Royal Tripura is the only oil that make me feel love at this point … If the real love got a smell … royal Tripura is the scent of this deep love that you feel with your first Girl friend … the love before you know it’s hurts … straight love without reason… RT got a women skin smell with the breath of beautiful love … it’s phenomenally pheromonal ! And satisfying as nothing else … after few months of aging, the sweet notes coming with rose and cherry flower on a buttery nuts and human leather skin from the neck … just woouah
At this moment, I don’t think I have ever smelled an Hindi as beautiful as this one.
I regret to got only 1g…
Al janah 3 is more buttery and bitter than the two other version ! It’s a complex oil … more than the the old version ! I get vanilla with a warm butter on apple pie ^^ pure and clean vibe with some spice and tea coming to my nose sometimes !
It’s definitely bitter and better than the last versions of Al janah séries ! Mashallah

2 Papua ouds which both feel similar to me. So, I'm wearing these a side-by-side to decide which I prefer, I had the feeling they're too similar to warrant owning both - will (...possibly...) sell whichever resonates less to me. Both have this deep, purpley green smell but quite vibrant, jungry, dense, incense laden and bright - unlike some "damp" ones I've smelled
Think I'm leaning towards the ASO which seems stronger, but time will tell for smell 🙂

It smell a creamy vanilla with pollen of flowers ! I get a Borneo vibe to this oil and an incensy vibe that I love so much !
i smell also kind of yellow kinam … it remind me some notes of rooh assam from lucky oud or Al janah serie from Habz … and the is a touch of light and gentl smoke or vaporous diesel ! I love this oil a lot ! And the thing that choked me was the price … it’s totally underpriced … honestly the best value I get from an oil … it’s crazy ! Kakojan hit your nostrils like a 4k from agar aura !

Borneo king is a bomba of sequiterpen! I find this oil close to white kinam honestly … this Borneo king is vanilla vaporous diesel with gentle smoke of pollen and grilled almond ! Old book vibe to it , a very sharp note with intoxicating wood turn around me … strong projection and longevity ! Impressive oil !

It’s the only oil that smell like this … I never smelled something close to this one . It’s like perfume ! I get strong floral note that I identify as Rose , and fruit juice with acidity ! Pepper and chilli pepper ! With oceanic vibe and iodine Breeze ! When I received this sample , Marius recommended me to get this oil as it’s rare profile and I was focused in EOC and I was not trained to recognize the potential of this oil… I am so sad to missed this oil… if anyone selling it please let me know ^^
