Al Hind Oud: Laotian 2021

Pretty incredible find with this vendor. Mohammed is out of Detroit and told me I have to try this oil. I wasn’t ready for it to actually be artisanal.

Smells like a mix between Kham Lao from AA and NamXay from Jinko Store

Tons of vanilla, berries, bitter woods and then creamy incense in the drydown. It almost smells like a clean Hindi mixed with berries and a Borneo vanilla core.

Getting into the heart notes now and getting ripe plum mixed with the full top fraction it smells amazing with a fuel type vapor mingling with the fruits

EO Pinoy LTD. Stellar oil. I can see why it’s the special sauce in a few of Ensar’s parfums. But why gild the lily? It is a complete perfume unto itself.

I am glad to have this oil in my collection, It really does have a tobacco kind of smell to it but at the same time you can tell its an oud oil.

If you've ever smelled zaza zen from Ensar, South Thai Ltd has a similar scent profile with added fresh green notes

EOC shining like the sun !
licorice Candy with vanilla sweet and skin fruits ! I smell king of lotus and green melon ! It’s a Perfume by it self !

Craft oud Hindi 20 is the closest oil to Ensar oud Shuayb or oud Arafat !
smooth barn like you can smell in zoo !
nice clean leather and rich berries ! So nice oil !!

Borneo Kin is maybe close to Borneo 3000 but better to my nose … I mean there is more than just B3K!
It’s closer to Borneo 50K
Sweet vanilla , nuts , almond , pollen , flowers , honey , light mint , cream and light incense … full Borneo/Malinau profile !

Fresh Vietnamese oil
Can’t keep my hands off this oil!!!
It has a fresh “still” opening but that disappears pretty fast as other scents start to stack up one on top of another until it morphs into a full on Candy vapor that makes the mind swim.

Marius’s Filaria oil is winning my heart !
This oil work like perfume or an attar …
It opening bitter salty with an ocean breeze, and Mango juicy … it’s addicting !
acide unfiltered Apple juice with Kiwis ! Grape skin and green banana peels !
Licorice candy !
it’s definitely fruity and bittersalty ! Nice green powdery !
There is lots of notes and that is why it’s a real perfume to me.
By the way , this type of oud is so far from other oud oils that smell resinous, vanilla, cinnamon, bittersweet, milky, buttery etc…
I can feel that is a different kind of tree ! I am falling in love with this Royal Mamberamo ! Subhanallah

ASO Nusa is amazing… it smell something that I know but I don’t remember yet what is it exactly…
It’s going to similar way than Royal Mamberamo but more Brut! Without all the other notes that RM got …
It’s oceanic, salty , green wood , it smell cotton flower that you get from the usual soap, but the real thing ! Not synthetic !
it’s a very gentle smell that you can wear like a perfume also ! Non offensive !
It smell blue , light mint, light lemon, licorice and gentle liquor…
can imagine a Mojito cocktail !
Beautiful oil also !

« Madeleine de Prouste »
I love it over everything and it’s difficult to explain why… but it’s like a medicine for my heart ! (AA KKN make me feel the same things)
Royal Tripura is sweet and sour, perfectly bitter, like clean human skin, addictive leathery with rose flower ! Very light incense that I love so much ! Woauw ! No words give justice to this beauty !
My number one !

Kakojan is the little sister of Royal Tripura with more sourness, more smokiness, darker , and less subtile, more Brut !
This Hindi is my second favorite Hindi oil in my collection ! I love it a lot !

And I told you « bro this oil smell very nice , like a perfume , but it’s not my style … »
And You told me « Brother , i am sure you tried at the same time with EOC ? If yes , take a full day to try Royal Mamberamo alone , and you will see what you feel cuz now EOC take all the scene and you are focused on EOC ! Take your time with the Filaria oil , it’s Rare oil 😉 »

It is something that I need to change cuz I judging too quickly an oil that doesn’t hit my face at the first swipe .. and when I try it few times I am falling in love …

It happened few times also with Habz oils like Borneo Ateeq , Altamsah, Al Maliki !
I asked him please bro tell me you still have some left !!!
Also Shizumu sandal oil from Marius cuz initially sandalwood was not something that I loved, and Marius told me
« Bro did you tried it? I said not yet bro … you know sandalwood oil is not my cup of tea bla bla bla … »
5 minutes after try, I was shocked !!
I sent him 10 messages to ask him a bottle ^^ the smell of this full sinking sandal wood is the most gourmand and creamy butter scent I have ever smelled ! It’s an oil that you hesitating to drink for real ^^
So after some experience, I have to learn to take care of the time that I give to an oil, and try it few times to be sure about what I am feeling cuz I regret to miss out lot of oils like these…
