Craft oud Hind is an oil soo close to Ensar oud Shuayb or Arafat !!! (Arafat opening a stronger barn but after as Berried)
Smooth and gentle barn like zoo or circus, beginning clean and resinous! oudiness with sweet wild berries and hay

It opens like a nice Cambodi with soft earthy elements. It used to have an interesting green olive note but that’s not perceptible to my nose anymore. Instead this smells like a clean cambodi oil and dries down identical to Siam SK.
I think my obsession with new Gen oils is coming to an end. As my tastes shift I’m really favoring full spectrum oils these days. It’s nice to have reference points for this kind of stuff but I can’t help but wish I was wearing an old school classic “red” Cambodian profile like Le Essentiele Cambodiegne also by AA which is incredibly superior in my opinion.

Yes, correct. It actually smells like burnt wood. It’s not a smoke or incense profile to me. A layer of burnt wood and char on top, then the actual oil comes out a little later upon deep whiffs and I can recognize it as a Thai oil. Does this make sense?

Today I received my Borneo King, Kakojan oil, and a some Santal from Craft Oud.
Have been swiping like mad. These oils are of such quality.
Haven’t smelled Hind 20 yet. Also have Borneo Kin.
Am also wearing some Kalakassi and Naga from Oud Hindi. Have you tried?

Borneo king is stellar !! I can smell it’s an old oil !!! Honestly I smell something that I identify as kinam ! A creamy buttery Honeyed vanilla powdery vibe with nuts and bittersweet… I get a note that I smell in King K Nam which is Vietnamese oil …
If someone know or own this Borneo king from Habz I am so Interested in talking about this oil please 🙂 and if i can buy some more send me pm please … ^^

Borneo King is fantastic! While I don’t associate its smell with Kinam it is nice when that powdery vanilla kicks in but even more so it’s the petrol/diesel note that I love and find addicting.
I’ve heard many compare it to Ensar’s Borneo Diesel and while I haven’t tried that one I do love Borneo king. It’s one of my favorite oils.

Santal Sundar by Craft Oud is a pretty incredible albeit young Mysore oil which is clearly crafted from deeply resinated heartwood. This smells almost identical to Tabeer’s Mysore Royale except Santal Sundar has some intense minty, buzzy top notes. I’d imagine in a few years this will settle down and become a legendary oil.
King Kalakassi by Craft Oud This one is like vanilla on steroids. When I press my nose to skin it doesn’t smell as deep and complex as it does in the air around me. It’s almost like my nose is blanking out some of the complexity. I get some Hainan and Borneo vibes as well. I’ve never tried a Borneo/Hindi blend but I’d imagine it would be pretty great.

Yes the Borneo King is a older Habzoud offering distilled in 2012 from part sinking grade wood and high grade shavings. It was very limited in yield so sold a few years ago to a few lucky people. Today im wearing ASO oil Qandahar 2 one of the best Hindi oils i have smelt. The rose note in this is amazing....

Mentholated green tea and fruity tones make this oud a very good late-winter/springtime oud.
If that's what aged Thai ouds smell like then I'm definitely keeping my younger Thai ouds for ageing.
