(2 grams) 2021 clean long soak cultivated Kinam blended with (10g) freshly distilled Vietnamese oil made from 3 types of wood to make 1 tola
This is outrageous!!! A Scent bomb of bliss

Putting this away to age ( going to forget about it for a while)

Al Hind Oud: Laotian 2021

Pretty incredible find with this vendor. Mohammed is out of Detroit and told me I have to try this oil. I wasn’t ready for it to actually be artisanal.

Smells like a mix between Kham Lao from AA and NamXay from Jinko Store

Tons of vanilla, berries, bitter woods and then creamy incense in the drydown. It almost smells like a clean Hindi mixed with berries and a Borneo vanilla core.

King Kalakassi by Dr. Parasun (Craft Oud):
There are a very few oils that are born great. King Kalakassi is one of them. Awe-inspiring sort of oil it is!
Its aroma is to be described in terms of frequency, and not in terms of top, heart and base notes. The scent evolves and moves from low frequency to higher and then to the highest. Amazing! Scaling peaks, and fathoming ocean and trekking jungle are unified in this sacred liquid. I feel inclined to write Dr Parasun distilled different agarwood species in a single pot. This is why I'm reluctant to write it is hay-ish, floral, incensey etc. The aroma it emits is simple and pure OUD and OUDY. It is above adjectives and epithets.
I'm fortunate enough to have this oil, the first oil I got in 2022.

There are more oils by Dr Parasun that I will try later. Hope soon his new batches of sandalwood oils will be ready to be offered.

King Kalakassi sits at the top of the kalakassi’s in my opinion. Easily the best oil Prasun has in his repertoire.

My favorite aspects is the creamy vanilla and incense.

Yesterday evening I swiped Santal Sundar from craft oud …
Usually i don’t give lots of hoping with sandalwood as it’s very nice wood but I prefer agarwood soo far !
Guys I received a high kick in my face ^^ KO! No words …
It remind me Shizumu from Jinkoh store with more perfume aspect !! I mean it’s more sophisticated than Shizumu, and more incensy ! Stronger fragrance and lighter in terms of Nuts!
This oil working like a perfume, one of my Collegue told me, which perfume do you wearing ? ^^ this oil doesn’t smell only sandalwood… it’s like a zoom+++ on a complex combination of scent !
flower, butter, Fresh cream, Nutts, vanilla , Tea , yellow, green and brown , even Mint and pepper , incense and woodiness!
The projection is phenomenal, and it last long long time on my skin…
To my nose, it’s like Shizumu found a girl friend named Santal Sundar !! ^^
As I was shocked by Shizumu from Marius… Now i am shocked by this Sandal oil !
I’ve never smelled something like this! DR Parasun is a Maestro in distillation… Mashallah ! The price is crazy !


Today I swiped Altamsah from Habz …
Honestly this oil is close to the High grade AA Malay oils …
I feel a green muskiness with a strong And sweet resinous face on a cola note and honey vibe ! Lemon and sweetness ! Habz oils aging marvelously !!
I am looking for this oil if someone has it , please let me know 🙂

With this oil and zamarad 2 the aim was to hit the sweet spot with wild oils, one can swipe without over thinking or holding back due to the cost. For regular everyday use, office friendly, swipe away with friends. With more age they will only get better.

Today i wore one of a few oils gifted to me by @EJayB which he has distilled himself. I believe this is his first Vietnamese oil. The oil is super clean with no off putting notes. I get that high quality woodsy creamy strawberry syrup with a boozy cambodi vibe with a nice ammount of incense. Ive smelt this note in other high quality oils esp from IO. Very well done and your work will just get better. The oils smells like its aged for years, very mature and rounded.
