Royal Tripura from Jinko to cap the night off.

I started the day with Tripura Encens from Tabeer

Both oils exhibit similar facets but Royal Tripura is the daytime scent here. Very clean and rounded.

Tripura Encens is raw power in a bottle. Extremely tenacious, fumey and with raw primalism much like animal Hyde without feeling like barn. Very interesting to see two top notch oils distilled in different fashions and producing similar outcomes.

Royal Tripura is much more wearable and public friendly. For that it’s the winner. Tripura Encens is deeply powerful and complex with booming basenotes and rawness that verges on being animalic but it never quite gets there.

They both drydown similar but Royal Tripura showcases a smooth, almost vanillic creaminess in the base where Tripura Encens goes the bitter grapefruit/woods route. Still each one of these are legends. Very happy to finally sample Royal Tripura.

IO Wilupatu Raja - some of guys maybe dont realize this kind level of sri lanka worth atleast 1k a gram today...
Same can be said for so many things in life too though 😀
House, stocks, etc.
I find it better to just focus on the prices of the oils being offered today and not speculate the prices of the oils from the past.

Glad you were able to track him down! I purchased from him on WhatsApp - as was mentioned earlier, some of his oils are hydrodistilled, but most are CO2 fractionated. He seems to mainly serve the the perfume industry, providing low cost cultivated ouds for use in blending perfumes. I purchased 6 1g vials of oud (1 of each of his profiles) for around $180 + $80 for 1g of his cultivated kinam oil.

Kyara Zen met Jeff a while back and vouches for the quality of his product - https://www.kyarazen.com/the-future-of-oud-oils-fractionated-sinensis-co2/
Thanks for the great support, hope you enjoy testing and wish you would like some of Chinese oils.

Thanks for sharing.
I have tried one from him, the one that says barn. I like the smell. What I find about these fractioned Co2 extracts is that they are more like Oud notes. Their characteristics arent like Oud oils. They have no complexity or transitions like the Hydro distilled oils. I see these befitting blending where a perfumer is trying to introduce a note.
It would be interesting to compare Yuzhi and Grandawoood, they both have some CO2 extracts.
Hi Tauhid, this is Jeff from Yuzhi Oud, YZ07 (Richly Fragrant Aroma) is a CO2 extracts Oud Oil. Thanks for sharing Chinese Oud Oils. I wish more and more people will know about Chinese Oud Oils.

so recently I bought some of my first pure oils, of the two one was jinkoh store emperor of kedah but that isn't what I'm wearing, I'm wearing jinkoh stores Cambodi Essenza sample that came with kedah, its hard for me to break down pure oils as I'm new but i get a nice deep resinous filter amongst Sweet fruit nectar and florals, I get a bit of grass like note to it amongst the rest that adds a little twang to it . I give it a thumbs up but as I have more wearing of the oils I have and will get in future I hope to describe these better and paint a better picture
