Tonight I’m studying a 50 year old Hindi from Sultan Q’s collection I received as a gift .
After a few minutes I’m fully blown away by the level of scent layers and drifts from one vibration to another.
My level of gratitude can not be expressed in words for this experience. 🙏🏼

You will need to first stop burning the wood for 2 days, haha. I can smell Oud from the parking every time.

Sweet orange and yellow fruits with purple florals exposed in 3D.
Clean, with no perceived distillation pot notes, smooth, and settled.
Chip resin, some powder, a touch of ambery benzoin, a bit of bitter oudiness.

For comparison sake, if you smelled the first EO Oud Yusuf, and Taha’s L’Essentiel Cambodgien, then is oil is both of them.

I am wearing lucky oud by bortnikoff. Nice blue lotus infused sandalwood perfume with a bit of oud mixed in there to keep it rich. I tend to layer it with oud monarch as they are be try similar

Lucky Oud - Hind Kinam

Has that sweet creamy base that I associate with Nagaland oils and there are definitely notes that remind me of kinam. The name aside it’s a very nice smelling oil.

Oud Al Quadaria - Oxford Ouds Koh Kong 2004 Gorgeous oil now no longer available. Warm and damp. It’s slightly sweet with this deep smooth woody tone, earthy and spicy fruitiness.
