The Attar Store - Encens Prachin
Sweet and sour apple. Tea . Oudy incense. Top notch Thai.

EO - Tigerwood 1990
Diesel, leathery band aids, some sweetness, oudy incense. Classic oil. I like mixing it with patchouli as I think they compliment each other well.

Continuing my exploration of the habzoud oils. Today I am wearing the Jaya Qadeem and Taj Mahal Hindi.
What a contrast! I explored them a little bit before on paper strips but on the skin its a completely different story.

Jaya Qadeem: lacquer, cedar, forest floor, mint, refined. I could see myself wearing this regularly.
Taj Mahal: Some light animal barn, hints of orange chocolate, desi ghee. Barn wears of rather quickly and becomes sweet and well rounded. Something I cannot put my finger on, but I just keep smelling for more! Something to indulge in at home.

Meitei by Agarwood Assam. Bought over 4years ago! Still have practically a full bottle and I feel like I;ve worn this a ton - at this rate it'll last me ooo...a further 15, 20 years?! madness. Kinda puts the excess of my collection into perspective really, considering that I barely finish 0.2ml samples. Madneess indeed.

Anyway, fantastic oil. A tiny bit of barn but not overly so, a very deep red hue. It's strong and loud but super smooth. I'm quite ill recently, gone from just a cough to having a blocked nose so my sense of smell (which is rubbish at best usually) is worse so

Couldn't contain myself...it is Friday after all. Put a swipe of Imperial Oud Brunei 2017 sample that I still had laying around on my left wrist, and a swipe of Habzoud Oud Caliph on my right. I'm in olfactory heaven right now, that is for sure!
Interestingly, I notice these have a very calming effect on the mind as well.

Oriscent YCA
more pinpoint/zoomed in kinam profile than NLTD, strong piercing aroma with more bitterness too along with elegant fruit/sweets notes.
