Oud Yusha by Ensar. This is a Thai oud with typical dark fruity, incensy nutty elements. What makes me feel very surprised is that the performance is out of this world. 24hrs+ hours on skin, and easily a week on clothes. This by far the longest lasting natural oud oil that I have experienced.

Caliph from Habzoud
Used up my free sample today and waiting for more to arrive along with a new sample to nibble away at my oud budget once again.
If you like deep oud base with progression of scents being slowly evolved out of that base then this is your type of oud!!!
Another Habzoud grand slam, WOW

TajMahal - Habzoud

An earlier post gave me the idea of wearing mysore antique from craftoud. After an hour or so of honey bliss I thought to myself I wonder what oud would compliment this well? Why Tajmahal of course!

The Tajmahal seems stronger but the honey in the background provides a nice base. This is the perfect way to drift off to sleep.

Need to try this oil.

Ceylon Royale by Imperial Oud. My favourite oud, 2hrs in absolutely captures that blue/green absolutely stunning note you get from burning good Sri Lankan oil. One of my most expensive oils to date, but so, so good.
On the opposite end of the spectrum - a Thai oil from "pure oudh"....costing a whopping £6 for 0.3ml (won on ebay) 😂
This is actually decent! Fruity, yellow, orange, I don't get any barn notes. Not too bad!

I ordered a sample set from Habzoud and started with Zamarad two this morning. Wow, till now I have only experienced the classic 'gulf' profile of oud (with most likely synthetics cause of their price) as well as a vintage Cambodi 2002.
This Zamarad is something completely else than what I have experience so far, didn't know oud could smell like this, so vibrant and 'deep green' if that makes any sense. Truly an eye opening experience.
In the afternoon I put on some of his Altaws, and this brings me back to a more familiar scent profile of leather with a slight smokiness and incense. Very comforting.
