Today I'm wearing ASO's Mustaqbil. I really must say, this oil has taken me by surprise. It was included as a complimentary sample along with several much more expensive oils, but it has truly won me over. It's a malinau that is very well balanced - green woody moist earth, with some sharp grassy bitterness that is softened by quiet sweetness, with a tiny bit of animalic in the background. It just feels wonderfully natural, a true earthen perfume. It's how I imagine a forest nymph might smell.

I should mention Mustaqbil is an organic oil, and for me surpasses the acclaimed organic Fajr in its balance and beauty.

I agree RM is next level Malinau

RS has a cool green mint with a tad spicy more sweet side vanilla. Layered all throughout is that kinamic blast of why Taha likes to call a mind zapper. And boy that buzz hits hard in comparison to other oils. I’ve written else where that this feeling for me is mild. People tend to compare that mind buzz category with what drugs would do to you. Nothing like that. More like it pushes you into another mind set, a relaxed feeling usually for me. Depends on my mood and what oil it is though.

Kyara LTD 05 Burma one... scent thanks to Asif for the scent legends pack! Tons of extra goodies to explore as well!!

back to the KLTD 1.0 though.... incredible! It has a more linear kyara profile than KLTD 2.0 to my nose. Guess since the second one was to incorporate all profiles for a dynamic oil. Do love that massive shape shifter though as well. An oud journey of bliss. Ahhhhhhh

PS tomorrow I will try Oud Royale No.1 so excited!!!! 🙂 stay tuned friends

OR1 ... That is my favorite Merauke and one of my favorite all time oils...

Was gifted a tiny sample less than 0.10 but I treasure it.

I get it ... I dont get any mind buzz but it's more to do with my personal enjoyment... usually Taha's oils are the one I enjoy I most and use them when I feel I need uplifting or relaxing

Yeah Dan, I only have approximately .10 gram of these oud legends too from the sampler that Asif kindly sold me, but they are too precious to use often even with more of it! I wish I had grabbed the .3g vial of OR 1 when that was listed on for sale section a while back. But a second opportunity came along thankfully

Al Hashimi Seeniya tonight. I just blind bought this one because aside from Agallocha oils, Sinensis are probably my favorite. This one shares a lot of similarities with Yunnan oils with characteristics of gentle musk and bee propolis with mandarin peel. Of course it has that bitter woodiness of Sinensis as well, but the woodiness of Seeniya seems to be slightly more “incensy” than normal, which is great. In addition, I get occasional whiffs of sugared pink grapefruit and vanilla orchid. So far the performance is not bombastic, but it’s pretty damn good. I’ve only had it on for about an hour or two, so more to come later. Very happy with this one.
