Trad from @Rahel
Though this one is distilled from plantation wood but it smells very nice.
I was not impressed for a while but this one really grows on me, found myself reaching for this one quite often.

smell wise, I get resinous orange jam-y vibe with a strong oud-y backborn from this one. there's some noticeable hay-ish note too. :Inlove:
Really glad your enjoying all the samples I sent you

Oud Royale no. 1

never thought I would be lucky enough to get my hands on this oil but I guess everyone has a good day once in a while! I’m familiar with that classic earth/forest note in merauke ouds. It’s a very grounding scent to me, I experienced this in sultani 1990 and I want to say ences Royale before I pawned thy one off since I wasn’t one for so much incense vibe. But this has such a core of capital Oud. It’s right up there with my very best oils! To name a few Blue Kyara by JK, ASAQ original thaqeel, both kyara LTDs, FHI. All of em. If you’ve ever been curious to know what OR 1 was like, take the opportunity through the scent legends website and grab a tiny sample! Totally worth it. Shout out to Asif for this one though since I got a legends sampler from him, otherwise I’d have gotten it from Ouddict’s new site.

Port Jaya V2.

Decided to take a break from constantly swiping the RBO Thai oils over the past few days for something different. This did not work as intended.
This went on about 6 hours ago. It's still extremely smoke-y with hints of sea coast. My boss mistook it for a Vietnamese oud. It's good, but hits like a wall of sound.
Still waiting for the drydown to really kick in, unless the smoke *is* the drydown.

IO-Sigiriya

My first experience of Sri Lankan Oud oil, thanks to Mr Sproaty!

This goes so well with the beautiful spring sunshine that has been gifted to us in the North West at the moment.I'm getting a bright floral jungle aroma juxtaposed with the dark wood backbone you find on the dry down of many oud oils .

Looks like another rabbit hole I'll be going down one day iA!

Sigriya
Wilipatu Raja
Ceylon Royale

Released at the same time. Now Sigiriya must have turned perfectly smooth.

I’m enjoying ejayb’s “economy Lao” oil. Quite a nice mellow sweet Thai profile without lots of sharp or bright top notes. Kind of a mellow, dense deep version of the scent of some of feel-ouds bio Thai oils.

Al Hashimi Kilatan. Vaporous, crystalline green, slightly nutty, almost fizzy, creamy vanilla and spice. Very nice for a Malay, which I've never been particularly crazy about.

Last week a new attar attempted

ASO - Hamms
ASO - Mysore Sandalwood
ASO - Hekayat (Siberian musk Sandalwood masceration)
Topped it with little Ensar Rose by Sultan Pasha

This blend is probably the best ive attempted...
